Dance and Music

Our school believes in the holistic Development of students by encouraging active participation in cultural, literary and awareness-based activities. This year our students actively Participated and brought laurels to the school in multiple – Inter school and intra school events.

To celebrate the 20th birth anniversary of Adi Kavi Bhanu Bhakta Acharya, The Nepali department organized an inter house Recitation competition. Students from all the four houses participated with great enthusiasm, impressing the judges and audience with Expressive recitation, Confidence and clarity. The results off the competitions were as follows

1st position- Indira House (green)
2nd position- Sarojini House(blue)
3rd position- Teresa House(white)
4th position- Nivedita House(red)

On the same occasion, our school also participated in the Lok Nritya (folk dance) Competition organized by Nepali Adhyan Samiti at Town Hall. The students presented a mesmerizing fusion of Maruni and Tappa dance. The performance received immense appreciation for its cultural richness, synchronization and choreography, helping our students secure 3rd position.

The team further Represented the school at the district level folk dance competition on 4th November organized by DIET under the National education project. The performance stood out for its cultural Authenticity, graceful presentation earning us the second position.

In addition to cultural excellence, our school participated in the 12th Kanyashree Day program, Organized by the Department of Women and Child Development and Social Welfare. As part of the event, and enter school reels making competition was conducted on the topic “Cyber Security and online Threats”. Our students created an impactful and awareness driven reel focusing on online safety and digital responsibility bringing recognition to the school by securing the 3rd position. These accomplishments are reflection of the students’ hard work, creativity, teamwork, and the constant support of our teachers and school management. Participation in such events not only enhances confidence but also strengthens cultural values and social awareness among students.
